about Warwick’s White House

For a taste of history, head to Warwick’s White House, located amid scenic farmland on the oldest road in town, Hathorn Rd. Just few minutes away is the vibrant village center filled with unique boutiques, famed eateries and elegant historic homes.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Jeremiah Morehouse Home, (est. 1767) this newly restored destination features original 18th century Georgian architecture and tasteful updates preserving the tradition of gracious country living. Guests will feel they are stepping back in time as they explore on original wood floors whispering of days long ago.

One of the oldest surviving homes in the area, it has been carefully renovated to uncover all its charm and character. It features a rare ”Chinese Chippendale” stair banister, the only example of this oriental-influenced style in Orange County. Complementary period-inspired wall coverings and cozy furnishings were selected with the guidance of famed designer Marina Case of The Red Shutters.

Your “home away” features three bedrooms, two full baths, two living rooms with fireplace, a dining room and a fully equipped new kitchen for creating memorable meals. Although the house was built hundreds of years ago, it now provides modern-day comfort, elegance and relaxed luxury.
